Professional School Bus Drivers

Our drivers are our most important employees and we believe that we employee only the best.   All of our drivers must undergo intensive defensive driving courses and first aid training. (A list of some of these pre-requisites can be found on the Employee Opportunity Link)

Andrew Deavy, our head Driver Trainer along with Lisa Bonner have designed an ongoing program that strives to continuously improve and create driver awareness. Mandatory refresher courses and further training workshops are offered throughout the school year and the driver’s career.

The atmosphere amongst the drivers is very collegial as they organize various activities outside of their daily duties. The stress of dealing with numerous school schedules, parental requests, and traffic and weather delays can be quite challenging. Yet, despite these challenges, our turnover rate is surprisingly low. In fact, we have numerous employees who have been with us for more than 25 years.

All of our employees must adopt the mission statement that was designed by Lorne  which states that their goal is to “Transport students in the safest, most efficient and amicable way possible.”
